Sewing Classes & Events

Special COVID-19 Note:

We are not closing because of the concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). However, as of Thursday, March 19, we will be open by appointment only solely for drop-off, pick up, and the purchase of anything related to your sewing needs. To book an appointment, please call 705-476-2739 during of normal working hours. Also, all classes are cancelled until further notice. We apologize for  any inconvenience this may cause our loyal customer base, and hope to be back to our usual operating hours and services when the current concerns over the coronaviris have passed and life gets back to normal. For now, this is a time for all of us to take care of ourselves and those close to us. In turn, it becomes an opportunity for each of us to stay home and sew. We have sewing machines, accessories and notions to help you with your sewing projects. Go to this website, and  both the Husqvarna Viking and PFAFF websites, to see what amazing deals are available.  Should you need to book an appointment to see us, rest assured, we are being extremely vigilant with cleaning the store, and washing our hands.
The great news is that we will be offering the Spring Flyer pricing on both PFAFF and Husqvarna Viking sewing machines as of now. See our What’s on Sale page for more details.
Be cautious, enjoy sewing, and take care.

All our sewing classes run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, unless otherwise stated. Be sure to bring your sewing machine, your basic sewing tools plus the items on the supply list below for an enjoyable and productive session.

Parking in our driveway is available but space is limited. Pull right up as we can fit up to 3 cars. If there is room in the front yard parking area, please pull in parallel to the road as tight as you can to the other cars (no bumping allowed) so there will be room for more sewers. There is direct access through the big door at the end of the driveway, then just a few steps down to our comfortable classroom. We do not provide meals so please be sure to pack a lunch for our full day classes. We are also located just a short walk from Twiggs Coffee Roasters if you wish to grab a bite nearby.

Please stop in or contact us to confirm your attendance to ensure that there’s a space reserved for you. It’s the only way we can guarantee you a spot.
