Making Friends With Your SergerBe Serger Savvy

From our 20+ years of teaching serger classes, our feedback indicates that  Serger Savvy can be fun and informative, suitable for all levels of students.

In  this “hands on” class, the focus will be on practical applications of overlocking with particular emphases on “cause and effect”. Topics covered will include standard 4 thread stitch, 3 thread wide and narrow, rolled hem, pseudo rolled hem, 2 thread edges, decorative edging, inside corners, outside corners and ovals.

Participants can expect to come away with a new appreciation of the overlocking process!

Bring your serger in good working order, 4 or 5 cones of thread, small scissors and all the accessories that you have.

The Road Trip Wallet

The Road Trip Wallet features 2 full-length zipper pockets that form the front and back “covers” of this book-like wallet. These covers flip open to reveal a center zipper pouch with an ID Window Pocket, and 2 sections of credit card slot pockets. The small size holds 10 cards, and the large, 16.

Use my unique method to create the straightest credit card slots! Draw your card slot lines quickly and precisely with our plastic template, available HERE at Choose from 3 versions of closures to finish off your wallet. Note: Version C works with the large size only because the ID Pocket interferes with the snap in the small size.

Small Size:  Width- 6 1/2” (16.5 cm) Height– 4.5” (11.5 cm) Depth- 3/4” (19 mm)
Large Size:  Width- 8” (20 cm) Height– 4.5” (11.5 cm) Depth- 3/4” (19 mm)
